Battery and runtime

The built-in 10,000 mAh battery charges via USB-C. Runtime varies by speed setting. On high speed, expect around 8 hours per charge. On low speed, runtime is significantly longer, though actual hours depend on temperature, humidity, and battery age over time. The fan also has a USB-C output port that can charge a phone or other small device while the fan is running, though this will reduce fan runtime accordingly.

Where this fan works well

Golf cart. This is the primary use case the fan is designed for. The magnetic base or octopus grip mounts to the cart frame. Three speed settings let you adjust airflow on the course. The LED light is useful in low-light conditions on early morning or evening rounds.

Garage or workshop. If you work at a metal workbench or near metal shelving, the magnetic base holds without a clamp taking up workspace. Useful for staying cool during tasks where you are stationary for long periods.

Camping and outdoor use. The battery means no outlet is needed. Tent poles, camp chairs with metal frames, and truck tailgates are common mounting spots. The LED provides basic lighting for a campsite at night.

Boating and fishing. The fan can mount to metal railings or rod holders. The sealed housing handles light outdoor conditions. It is not waterproof, so avoid direct water exposure.

What to know before buying

The magnetic mount requires a ferrous metal surface. It will not stick to aluminum, most fiberglass, plastic, or painted composite surfaces. If your golf cart frame is aluminum, the Octopus mount version is the better choice since it grips around the frame physically rather than relying on magnetism.

The fan runs at DC 12V internally. It does not accept USB input for power while running. USB-C is for charging the built-in battery and for the output charging port only.

The LED light is warm white at two brightness levels. It is a secondary feature, not a primary light source. It is useful for visibility and orientation in dim conditions, not for illuminating a work area.
